It has been about 200 years since mankind began using fossil fuels for the generation of energy and, in this period, such has been the extent of relying on these energy sources that with the current rate of consumption, we are poised to run out of them in the coming 70 years or so. The methods of generating and using energy have been consistent in this period due to slow pace of innovation in generating renewable energy. This is partly to do with the lack of awareness and acceptance of the harmful effects of burning fossil fuels and also, till recently, with the prohibitive costs of renewable technology. But, with the world realizing the dire impacts this has caused on the environment and the forthcoming scarcity, there has been a renewed vigour to shift towards renewable sources of energy as early as possible. This has driven innovation and production figures in this field and, combined with government incentives and subsidies, the methods of generating renewable energy are very much accessible to the common man.

Grun Umwelt Energy Private Limited was incorporated with the prime purpose of easing the process of initiating self-generation of renewable energy and also finding innovative ways to reduce the consumption of energy. We are a leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company in the field of renewable energy projects. We are registered with the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) and various other state and national agencies to execute solar projects. We have executed projects at numerous sites in northern and central India. Collectively, our installations amount to more than 25 MWp with a range of on-grid and off-grid and hybrid projects.
